Techgen20 was founded by Richard Loader, an intelligent transport systems specialist with more than 24 years of experience delivering transport technology and major infrastructure projects across Australia and the United Kingdom.
Why Techgen20 exists
From an engineering idea to a proven survey platform
After working across motorway, tunnel, rail and roadside technology projects, Richard identified an opportunity to modernise temporary traffic surveys.
Techgen20 applies proven intelligent transport systems technology to a portable roadside platform, making traffic surveys safer to deploy, easier to monitor and more useful for clients.
What began as an idea to improve traditional traffic-counting methods has developed into a field-proven platform capable of collecting vehicle counts, classification, speed, direction and origin-and-destination data.
Experience behind the technology
Before founding Techgen20, Richard held engineering, project delivery and senior leadership roles with Costain in the United Kingdom and Downer and UGL in Australia.
