Project experience
Techgen20 has delivered traffic counts, speed and vehicle classification surveys and coordinated origin-and-destination studies across local streets, bridge approaches and major motorway environments in NSW.
Five coordinated Techgen20 survey locations operated simultaneously across the Wallsend road network for two weeks. ANPR vehicle matching provided origin-and-destination, route-choice and movement data from 746,274 observations.
Techgen20 undertook traffic surveys at multiple locations on the M5 Motorway over three weeks, capturing 1,698,927 vehicle observations. The project delivered continuous traffic counts, vehicle classification, speed data and live remote monitoring.
Working with JPEC for Transport for NSW, Techgen20 delivered coordinated roadside surveys at Coleman Street and Pitt Street in Parramatta. The systems recorded 276,362 vehicle observations, including traffic counts, classification and speed, without installing equipment on the road surface.
Demonstrated capability
Together, these projects demonstrate Techgen20’s ability to coordinate multiple roadside survey locations, operate continuously across extended survey periods, monitor data remotely and manage datasets containing hundreds of thousands of vehicle observations.
